1. Who we are

ProTennis (the “Service”, available at protennis.lol) is operated by Rytham Sequence LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect when you play ProTennis or sponsor a spot in its stadium, why, and what you can do about it.

2. Information we collect

Information that stays on your device

Your player name, chosen character and court theme are saved in your browser’s local storage so the game remembers them. They are not sent to us unless you play online (see below). You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Information you give us

When What we collect
Playing online Your player name and character, a random player ID generated by your browser, the room code, and your in-match inputs, so both players see the same match.
Verifying your email to sponsor a spot Your email address and a one-time verification code we send to it. We create a basic account record (email, and name if you provide one).
Placing a sponsorship bid The display name, logo image and (optionally) website URL you submit; the spot, bid amount and currency; and the history of your bids and payments.
Contacting support Your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Information from our payment processor

Payments are made on a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details directly; we never receive your full card number or security code. Stripe sends us the payment’s status, amount, currency and reference IDs, and may include billing details you entered at checkout, such as your name, email address and country, along with the payment method type and its last four digits.

Information collected automatically

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

3. How we use it

We use personal information only to:

We do not send marketing emails. We do not use your information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

4. What is public

The display name, logo and website URL you submit for a sponsorship are shown to every player while yours is the top bid on a spot, and may appear in screenshots, videos or streams of the game made by us or by players. Your player name is visible to your opponent in online matches. Your email address and payment details are never shown in the game. Don’t include personal information in a display name or logo that you don’t want to be public.

5. How we share it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

6. Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the Service needs to work. None of it is used for advertising or analytics.

Type Purpose How long
Local storage Remembers your player name, character and court theme. Until you clear it
Session storage Keeps your online player ID and sponsorship sign-in for the current browser tab. Until you close the tab
Sign-in cookie (essential, HTTP-only) Keeps you signed in after you verify your email to sponsor a spot. Up to 7 days

Stripe’s checkout page sets its own cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention, governed by Stripe’s policies. Because we use only strictly necessary storage, we don’t show a cookie banner. Blocking storage in your browser may stop some features (such as sponsorship sign-in) from working.

7. How long we keep it

8. Security

We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), payments on Stripe’s PCI DSS–certified checkout, email sign-in with short-lived one-time codes instead of passwords, hashed session tokens, access controls and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

We extend these rights to everyone, wherever you live. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address linked to your sponsorship (so we can verify it’s you). We respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission.

Some limits apply: we must keep payment records for legal reasons even after a deletion request. Deleting your sponsorship submission removes your logo from the game; it does not entitle you to a refund (see our Refund Policy).

To appeal a decision on your request, reply to our response with “Appeal” in the subject line; we will respond within 45 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also contact your local supervisory authority.

10. Additional information for US residents

This section supplements the policy for residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws. In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information, for the purposes and from the sources described above: identifiers (email address, IP address, player and account IDs); commercial information (bids and payments); internet or network activity (server logs, user agent); and other information you choose to submit (display name, logo, website). We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by those laws, other than account sign-in credentials used solely to sign you in. We disclose these categories only to the service providers listed in section 5, for business purposes.

We do not sell or share personal information (as those terms are defined under California law), and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16. Our site does not respond differently to Global Privacy Control signals because there is no sale or sharing to opt out of.

11. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, for transfers of personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

12. Children

ProTennis is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Sponsorships are available only to adults 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, if the changes are material, notify sponsors by email before they take effect.
